Alma Engel joined Capital Women’s Care earlier this year as a Board Certified Physician Assistant.
Alma is a graduate of Shenandoah University Division of Physician Assistant Studies. Asked what the best part is of being a PA, Alma says that being able to make a difference in providing quality health care in the lives of women is truly rewarding.
She is enjoying building relationships with her patients and proactively addressing their specific needs as well as developing a preventative plan of care.
Currently, Alma is pursuing a doctoral degree in Medical Sciences with an emphasis in breast cancer detection.
Outside of her busy career, Alma enjoys international travel, reading novels, speaking fluent Mandarin, and spending time with her husband, daughter, and their three dogs
